All the artworks in this exhibition were created at one of Hesketh Hubbard Art Society’s regular drawing and painting sessions.
The aim is to capture the essence of one of our fabulous models in the artist’s own unique style. We are not seeking a perfect representation but are aiming for a spontaneous and creative reaction to the figure in front of us.
Many of the artworks were completed within the session, some in only 15 or 30 minutes. Others have been worked on subsequently to provide some extra colour or detail in line with the artist’s vision.
